FAQs
Is it actually free?
Yes to the patron. The library pays annually to allow patrons this opportunity to see area attractions at no cost to the patron.
How many people can go?
Each pass is valid for up to two adults and two children.
How often can people go?
Patrons are limited to one visit per attraction per year. This can allow other families to benefit from the Adventure Pass system.
If I can’t use the pass the day I reserved it, do I lose my turn for the year?
Reservations may be cancelled through the library up to one business day BEFORE the reservation. You must call the library at 641-828-0585 to cancel. When you reserve a pass, no one else can use it for that day, so we ask that you carefully consider before booking. If you cancel your pass, you open that day back up for other patrons and can reschedule yourself for another date.
Please note, the library is closed on Sundays, so Monday passes would need to be canceled no later than 3:00 pm Saturday.
Cardholders should verify a venue is open before reserving a pass.
