Shannon Proctor, Assistant Library Director

Shannon started at the library as a library assistant and took over the role of the Assistant Library Director in November of 2022.  Previously, Shannon operated her own dance studio in Albia for 25 years.  She, along with her husband Anthony, have two children and two dogs to keep them busy.  Shannon enjoys rooting on the Cyclones and watching old movies.

Holly Shelford, Youth Services Librarian

Holly has been the Youth Services Librarian for 16 years.  She has a degree in Elementary Education and was the director of a local preschool before coming to the library.  She is involved with the Knoxville Food Youth Initiative program and serves on the board.  Holly and her husband Greg have two children, two wonderful grandchildren and a dog named Finn.  She loves volleyball and the races!
